Reference Letters: To whom it may concern: I wish to compliment the professionalism exhibited by Mr. Ismet Surdulli, Mason, who recently accomplished several jobs at our residence. a. The first objectives discussed and agreed in contract following an estimate was the repair of five arch ways on our front porch.  Long neglected, the archways represent an icon to architectural standards, in particular, a distinct characteristic to Tudor-style homes built during the depression era in North Texas, specifically Dallas, the Elmwood neighborhood.  Our home made from brick, had suffered exposure to the elements and the natural results of erosion.  Mr. Surdulli effectively assessed the situation and made the necessary repairs replacing old, ineffective keystones with new, handsome keystones,  adding new brick and mortar.  The results were impressive and no longer required the former wooden beams to "support" the archways. b. Secondly, Mr. Surdulli brought to our attention the potential need to address the disintegrating foundation.  Again, an estimate was provided, the quote was agreed to and production followed immediately.  All discussed repairs to the exterior facade, including routing old, unsightly mortar and replacing with new mortar.  All cracks formerly discussed with Mr. Surdulli were accomplished in a timely manner.  Additionally, Mr. Surdulli effectively resolved the foundation problems to our home. c. Mr. Surdulli additionally absorbed new objectives during the completion of the formerly discussed and contracted work listed above.  The stone work performed on our front porch is a testament to Mr. Surdulli's vision.  Given the dire need for repairs needed to our former concrete porch, Mr. Surdulli recommended stone and brought several examples for our review.  Upon discussion, estimate and agreement to a white flag stone, Mr. Surdulli initiated production of the front porch. Results soared above our expectations, culminating in Mr. Surdulli's willingness and  resourcefully implementing the remaining stones to an additional three-tire porch to our 16 x 20' shed. d. Mr. Surdulli consistently presents himself available for "consultation" and generally discusses both functional and aesthetic requirements with us prior to production.  His knowledge of the materials used at our residence, stone and brick, is impressive and we are sincerely appreciative of both the tactile and visual impressions generated by his imagination and hands. e. A true artisan and a skilled mason, Mr. Surdulli brought to our home the level of professionalism we expected.  We are indeed satisfied with the results and continue to enjoy the praise from our friends, guests and neighbors.  Mr. Surdulli's efforts have resolved an integral requirement both towards embellishing the aesthetics and restoring the functionality to our home.
