Got 3 recommendations for a simple 1hr job and all quoted the same price. Its been some time since I hired a plumber and their rates have gone up. I went with Dupage County Plumbers and agreed on a date/time. Their rep was an hour late and never called. He took more than an hour to complete a simple task and then tried to bill me for 1.5hrs of work plus $75 for parts which were worth $25 at most....a sink drain and some pvc pipe. Eventually I paid the original quoted amount plus parts. The work was done correctly so I gave 4 stars for quality, 1 star for service and 1 for value.

Honest approach to to the job. High quality work and good communication line. Work around the project is very clean and tidy. They did a lot of extra work for free which makes the value for money very high. While replacing my tub as a great plumber Jason did a great job as tile layer. I trusted him as much as I left him alone in the house to continue his job while I was gone looking for matching tiles. However, you have to know what you need when accessorizing the project. Otherwise, some standard stuff will be installed by definition without asking.
