City: Louisville Project: Asphalt Shingle Roofing - Install or Replace Roof was installed and was a total mess.  Nails were visable and could silicone in spots on roof.  My chimney was totally messed up too...it was smeared with concrete all over it and… Read Complete Rating Roof was installed and was a total mess.  Nails were visable and could silicone in spots on roof.  My chimney was totally messed up too...it was smeared with concrete all over it and had big holes left in it.  To Dr Roof's credit they came out took one look, apologized and said they would do what ever it took to make it right.  They sent someone out to take the chimney complete out (it was not used), put wood over it, corrected and replaced shingles that were improperly installed at no additional cost to me.  Roof is wonderful.  I went with Dr Roof because of their warranty.  Shingles warranted for 30 years and their work warranted for 30yr. It took 2 weeks and 2 days to have them come out and repair my roof and the leak on 11/13. It would been okay to wait that long if they scheduled an appt. a week after the initial consulation, but they called me the morning of 11/13 to come out and do the repair. The replacement shingle color somewhat matches the existing color, but not exact. The quality of the work seems to be okay. The positive side is they put silicone over the existing exposed nails.
