I am John Hight, who attended Texas Tech University, offers 20 years of professional experience. A proud Texan, I am the father of two children, Richard, my favorite football player, and Clara, my favorite soccer player. My fondest memories are of my grandfather, a WWII veteran, and times together at his lake house learning about boating, ethics, and family. Speaking from experience, you won't find a better company to hire. They are extremely professional, reliable and honest. You can shop around, but you won't find a better deal on your project. Most importantly, they do what they say they will do.

Project: Build or Replace a Deck or Non-Masonry Porch
Cost Estimate was incorrect. He didn't measure properly and had to order additional materials which postponed completion and cost me extra. Shoddy work. The job was so poorly done he had to return with his crew of two a week later to fix his mistakes. The sides of a simple 10 x 20 deck weren't squared. I had to remind him several times in emails and verbally that the deck wasn't level. He self admitted that he didn't like working with Trex. He voided the Trex warranty by not spacing the rafters every 16 inches. As of today, after I paid him, he has not returned my emails. I would not recommend him. I have photos and video to prove my claims.

John Hight delivered everything as promised, on time and with a smile. He worked to save us money by suggesting alternatives. Every thing was cleaned up and he and his crew were courteous and thoughtful throughout the project. We would use his services again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

I can say this is the best company I have come along in a while. I emailed ServiceMagic and DockmasterUSA called the next morning and gave me an estimate. We live on Lake Grapevine and the water is high now, so they honey-combed the deck underneath. They came early, ready to work, and they worked very hard. Not knowing exactly how I wanted it to look, Mr. Hight stopped and asked me throughout the job what I liked and what I needed. The deck was completely finished and sealed in 2-1/2 days. He was an excellent communicator and called or emailed me daily. It was an exemplary job and look forward to working with DockmasterUSA again.

Our experience with Dockmaster was wonderful. John and his crew were on time, courteous and easy to work with. Home improvements can be challenging but John's expertise and professionalism helped alleviate our concerns and anxiety. If they were running late, we were contacted immediately, making it easier to adjust our schedule. During installation of a beautiful patio cover, they were faced with very high Texas winds and rather than rush the installation, the decision was made to wait for better conditions so the integrity of the product was not compromised. Follow-up after the job has been exemplary. A+ on customer service.

I can not express to you how valueable John is to your company... What a knowledgable ,fair and professional guy! Right on time completed the work when he said he would and it looks Mah-vo- lous!!!
