Kevin, the owner of Gilbert Granite indicated that my job was small and did not give me a written estimate.  (That should have been a red light for me). When he returned to do the job he had broken the piece of granite that was supposed to be installed and the backsplash was not cut to size.  He informed me that he was not coming back becuase the 30 min. distance was too far for him to travel.  So, after his mistakes he told me that I could get the granite cut at a stone co. in Merrimack and I had to to the installation myself.  I could not believe the lack of work ethic  - a total disgrace and would never recommend to anyone Gilbert Granite.
