Distinctive Fence Company

I had a very bad experience with this fence company. Rita Schramm(owner) seemingly is only interested in signing contracts and collecting payments. She did not care about the quality of the installation. Her installers did not install the fence per my requests(Bottom of fence too high from ground) Additionally they damaged some irrigation plumbing in my yard and did not mention it. I did not discover the problem until after her crews had departed. She offered no support to correct the damage. I have also escalated this through Home Depot Home Services, who she was contracted through for my project. Be careful!

My recommendation based on 28 years in the fence industry was for John P to have his fence follow the grade and he chose the stepped installation that caused the gaps. My crews were on their way out to lower the fence the next day and he called to cancel the adjustment. The damaged irrigation lines were brought to our attention 2 weeks later and John P already had his landscaper out repairing the lines and wanted financial reimbursement. According to the contract he signed, installation over view line item #2, we are not responsible for damaged lines that are not marked. This was covered in detail prior to signing. Sorry John P.

The sales associate (Rita) was very good at being on time and being prepared to work. She had samples of fence, and different options available for the type of fencing provided. The work crew was efficient and did a great job of installing. Rita then followed up to ensure the job was completed to our satisfaction.

Rita Schram was very helpful with suggestions and finance, and I would certainly recommend her company. And I love my fence!

I am very pleased with this company. The owner of Distinctive Fence Co., Rita, was a pleasure to work with.. The workmanship is top notch. The workers cleaned up every square inch of our yard when they were though. Our fence was started and finished very quickly in two days. Although this is a new Company, Rita has twenty seven years experience in fencing and it shows.
