Project: Install a Satellite Dish System

After Direct TV came to do an HD upgrade of my dish and receivers, they told me they couldn't replace my dish because I had a tile roof (and offered to install it on some kind of ugly mast in my yard instead - no thanks). I had Connex do the dish install and they did a great job. I wish they could get discounts on equipment from DTV, as I would have liked to have them do the full install including receivers, but it would have cost me a couple hundred $ more than just having DTV come and swap out my receivers and DVR.

They were very prompt and knowledgable, They did a wonderful job and I was very happy with the quality of the work. The ONLY negative was that I would have appreciated a phone call that someone was DEFINITELY coming. I got an appointment a few days ahead, and I wasn't positive that someone was actually going to come to install on a Saturday. The company is probably so efficient and reliable that they didn't even think that no one would show up. I have just had so MANY times in the past with other companies when the person said he would come and never did. This installer even arrived ahead of promised time. Highly recommend this company!

I pd $195 ($110+85) to have a blu ray installed & they could not do it. They said my working 2000 Receiver needed to be replaced as well as my brand new 2007 Blu Ray and wanted me to pay $100 for a universal remote and to pay them another $100 to program it. Techs spoke Vietnamese when they could speak ENGLISH-very annoying. After 2nd callback, they were still not able to give me a running blu ray & Tech was angry he had to come out again. I do not recommend them. Now I have to call Geek Squad to get my blu ray and my current universal remote BACK to working the great quality if was B4 they came over. Waste of MY time and MY money.

Customer was sold a blu ray player by a retailer. The customer does not have a HD tv. She does not have a universal remote. She has a comcast cable remote, that will not work with the blu ray player. Tech ofered a low end remote, but there was no understanding from the client as to why. Tried multiple times to explain, to no avail.
