Ben Mundwyler of Design Construction did not deliver on the promised services. The work he did was the worst I had ever experienced. This little space does not have enough room to express my dissatisfaction. Design Construction’s quality is zero! There are runs and drip marks in the finish; dings exposing bare wood; missing and broken screws. The finish has dust and fibers stuck in it. It is splotchy with brush strokes and variations of gloss and mottled matt finish. It is puddled and goopy in corners and horizontal edges. The brass door knobs and handles that were supposed to be cleaned are scratched as if a wire brush rather than cleanser was used. Ben should have never taken on the job. It was beyond his capabilities. Pictures are available if requested.

I thank you the Servicemagic for recommending "Design Construction" to build my tool shed. The contractor Bemjamin Mundwyler was both conscientious and skilled. He worked deliberately with his son and two apprentices. They framed the tool shed adjacent to pool house, sided, painted and roofed both covering the roof with shingles. Ben suggested numerous design modifications and obtained the city permit without difficulty. Most of the material was supplied by me but he delivered all the additional pieces needed to complete the project for which he was reimbursed at the end. The performance was superb.
