Project: Repair or Service a Hot Tub or Spa
Mike was here to look at our hot tub and seemed knowledgable, however, charged us 340.00 first until I reminded him of what the Servicemagic site said about no trip charge and free estimates. Took off 130.00 and still cost us 210.00 for nothing Charged a 30.00 fuel surcharge, 130.00 for service call, 130.00 for labor and a 50.00 SHOP CHARGE????? He was at our home for 30 minutes and says he charges 130.00/hour????? This service call was worth about 90.00 if that!!! I would NEVER hire this contractor unless I had money that I just didn't know what to do with!!!!!!!!!
