• How I Spend My Time Off: Working on my own home

•  We regularly work with prospective first time owners who are looking for something more than a a fast, cursory look and a checklist report. We are known for our experience in older and antique houses and the challenges that they bring. We plan our inspections to encourage active client participation and interactive discussion during the inspection.
•  We take the time to explain the significance of conditions found, believing that on-site discussion of conditions promotes better understanding. We discuss system operations and what you need to know. We write reports in a narrative style, and strive to make them clear and comprehensive. We intend for all readers to get the same meaning from them. We want them to be understood.
•  We invite our customers to call with questions and concerns that may arise, and expect calls well after the inspection is over.
•  We are good at what we do and stay with it. We work with other profesionals in related fields who are well qualified to provide woodboring insect inspections, septic system evaluations, fuel tank testing and tank sweeps, and lead testing. We can refer you to those people if the need arises. We don't receive or pay referral fees, preferring to be completely separate from other providerers except as a part of an informal referral network.
•  We are licensed to provide radon testing and perform that service for those clients who require it.
