Fidel and crew did a very nice job caulking large cracks in my concrete driveway. They ran out of caulk before they finished, but Fidel went out of his way to buy more caulk in the same color. Driveway caulk supposedly lasts two or three years, and many contractors won't do it, wanting to pour a new $7000 driveway!

Project: Install Stamped Concrete
Working with Fidel initially was great. He is very knowledgeable, and genuinely nice guy. I needed my walkway, stairs and back patio done. De La Vega’s over all presentation, estimate and customer service was most impressive out of all the company’s that came to the house. Their estimate was not the lowest nor the highest; somewhat in the middle. The reason we decided to work with De La Vega was because of Fidel. My experience was, Fidel does the estimate’s will talk to you and will complete the work order for you. He is not present at the site when the work is being done. If any decision needs to be made during the actual work, one of his workers makes that decision – so I would suggest that you are smarter than I, and you are actually there while they are working. After the job was completed, there was a piece of the walk way that was not acceptable to me, and Fidel came over and they have replaced it that the very next day. That was very professional and I do have to acknowledge the effort. This work was completed, mid August 2010. By November 2010, the walkway had a crack in it… the main reason I replaced the original concrete walkway/stairs… the same spot had the crack again, 3 months later… I called Fidel… still have not heard back from him… the patio… that has cracks on few spots. I am not sure if they used bad concrete, not sure if it was mixed bad…. Not sure if the workers are just not good… not sure what the deal is but between 500 sq patio and the walk way in the front of the house, both cracking, something is not right. I have called Fidel several times… he is not around to call back. Bottom line… beware. Send me an email and I will gladly show you pictures… $ 5000 in my opinion wasted.

Fidel and his crew were absolutely AWESOME ! My stamped concrete patio & walkways are BEAUTIFUL. They went above and beyond our expectations . They were very professional, prompt, and helpful . And cleaned up so well (even placed the dirt in areas of our yard they weren't even working on.These guys are GREAT ! I have already highly recommended this company to friends & family. I truely can not express how satisfied we are with the job this company has done. We will be using this crew for any other concete jobs in the future :)
