Day One Restoration has been in business since 1987. For 23 years we have dedicated ourselves to the restoration of fine furniture and repairs of utilitarian furniture. Every piece that comes into the shop is approached with care and professionalism that the piece and the customer deserve. All work is restored with period materials to the piece. We also do work on ulphostred furniture, with vintage techniques by extensively experienced craftsman. Furniture restoration has led to the restoration and duplication of exterior doors such as Brownstone palor doors, duplication moulding work, relief carving, and hardware. We also work on interior wood restoration, such as paint removal, millwork, and finishing. All work is approached with the same delicate touch that is required of furniture restorations. Not only did he do a good job, but the price was half the other estimates, and he picked up and delivered without an extra fee it was only cushions, but everyone else charged a fee).

I had a desk chair with a beautiful fabric that after 15 years of use needed to be changed. Mr Ferreiras came to pick it up after seeing a photo, gave me a reasonable estimate, gave me advice for getting the new fabric and yesterday came back with my upholstered chair. It is just beautiful. A work of art!

Day One provided a quote far less than the competitors. Tony was very professional and clearly committed to customer satisfaction. Although we had an initial color mishap with the project (although that looked great too), Tony did all that we asked to resolve the problem. Now our table looks even better than we expected. We will be using Day One again.

Tony, the owner, is a very trustworthy, dependable, wise man. I chose a comoplcted fabric with stripes anad patterns for my sofa and everything was balanced.and symmetrical. His price was quite reasaonable. Performs door to door service. It woulld be ridiculouos to use any other company.
