Rating: Project: Appliances (All Types) - Repair or Service A very nice man attempted to make the repairs on a machine he was very unfamiliar with.  He ran diagnostics and recommended the wrong part and left me instructions on installing it myself.… Read Complete Rating A very nice man attempted to make the repairs on a machine he was very unfamiliar with.  He ran diagnostics and recommended the wrong part and left me instructions on installing it myself.  This did not resolve the problem ($200 deep) so he had to return.  He told me another 3 items that were wrong with the machine.  I was very uncomfortable with his diags since he was now recommending a $400+ repair and saying the 1st repair was also necessary.I called Maytag. They fixed the problem in 10 mins at no charge (lawsuit settlement). David Nelson stated he was going to turn me into the credit bureau since I refused to pay a 2nd trip charge. Rating: Project: Appliances (All Types) - Repair or Service Nelson did the follow-up himself when servicing technician abandoned his job before finishing.  No extra charge for the return visit.  Repair was successful.  See All Ratings
