The guys who did the actual mildew remediation work did not seem all that professional, however, and they were unable to successfully remove ALL the mildew from my carpet. (they insisted it was "dead"--however, I could still see very large areas of mildew which still smells and is still active/spreading).  I was advised to get a new carpet as the damaged one is not salvageable.  I wish I had been told that up front--would have rather spent the money on getting a new carpet rather than on the remediation (wound up spending twice as much $) Rating: Provided By: Magda C.
