My name is Daniel O'Leary of Wakefield Mass. I have been servicing wood frame residences in the area since 2002. I have done many light construction and carpentry projects as well as completed multiple additions and renovations. Daniel replaced the shingles on my house and did a great job. The project was larger than he anticipated, but he didn't take any shortcuts and didn't charge me extra for the extra work. He's definitely someone you can trust to work on your home.

Project: Repair Cabinets
Dan was very prompt and very meticulous in his work. I hired him to install pulls on my kitchen cabinets and bathroom drawers. Before he installed them, he realigned some of the doors and made sure everything was even. He was extremely knowledgeable and hardworking. I would hire him again and I highly recommend him.

Project: Repair Window Frames
I hired Mark to repair some windows that didn't stay up. He was very professional, efficient, and up-front. Came by the day I called him to give an estimate. Some people might have tried to get me to replace the whole window, but Mark was honest about being able to just replace the parts needed at a low cost. When he couldn't find the part needed (which was outdated apparently), he used a more expensive and more reliable part, but did not try to charge me any extra. I would hire him again for any other window work, or other carpentry jobs around the house.

Project: Repair a Deck or Porch
I hired Dan to repair a 6x6 post that had some visible wood rot (Discovered during a buyers home inspection). The post was one of three posts that support three floors of back decks on a traditional flat roofed three family home. I interviewed three contractors and decided to go with Dan due to his professional demeanor and straight shooting evaluation of my situation. I had one contractor tell me I needed to replace the entire 50 foot post to the tune of $4000. Dan was able to address the issue with a much simpler solution (building permit approved). I am very pleased with the work! I hope to use Dan again in the near future!
