Daniel Boardman Residential Design

Daniel did what he said he would do and at the price he promised. Our major home remodel went well and we are very pleased with the Daniel's layout, his talent and eye for design and color, not to mention the contractor's appreciation of the drawn plans. From past experiences with architects, their is no ego or overpricing, Daniel was down to earth and a pleasure to work with.

It took abit of telephone tag to finally get together but that was due to travel on both of our parts. He visited our property twice and came up with 2 equally viable options. He is friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. I'd call him again if we needed additional advice.

daniel is really good and nice however i felt like he took longer than we wanted and there was some confusion with the budget and we ended up paying more than we wanted to.so if you work with him be sure you have all your ducks in a row and make your budget and timeline VERY CLEAR!!!! But other than those two issues everything went fine. he is also a little hard to get a hold of him on the phone. however i must say that the extended timeline was not all daniels fault there were some hang ups with the project theat were out of his control.

This was an excellent project and I did enjoy working with these clients, although I was a little surprised to hear that there could be any confusion over time or price considering I gave them a 30% discount to accommodate their budget, which was explained 2 times very clearly and in writing on the contract in bold lettering next to there signature. This project was an addition that took me 3 weeks to complete, I squeezed it in between two other custom homes to help them. I think any possible confusion arose from working with two different people who were in a big rush b/c they had already paid a builder and then realized they needed plans.

Very knowledgable, accomodating and willing to work with my schedule/requriements.

Daniel was very helpful in giving us ideas and direction. His dwgs were very professional and accurate. The only negative was his response time. It seemed he was quite busy and our job was not a very large job, therefore it felt like we were put on the back burner. Fortunately we were not in a big rush so everything was OK.

Daniel was extremely prompt and paid incredible attention to the details that we wanted in our new home! The finished drawings are great and we are about to start construction! I have been in the construction industry for over 30 years and have worked with countless architects.......Daniel ranks up at the top of the list.
