Kathryn was fun and easy to work with! She had great ideas, and kept everything professional and punctual. She left everything clean and in place. Kathryn worked very quickly! I would absolutely recommend her!

Kathryn designed a plan for our backyard which had been nothing but weeds for years. I liked her ideas. She gave me a list of plants that she proposed and revised her list with my suggestions to include some of my favorite plants. Kathryn & her crew do one job at a time so she is very present during the work. Her crew arrived promptly, worked quickly and quietly (no blaring radios or yelling). She suggested a couple of things that I hadn't considered (a few boulders in the beds for variety as well as up-lighting for the trees, and I am so glad that I listened to her as they make the yard even better. I'm delighted with the end result.

My scope of work was a small addition to existing and some repair of the existing paver areas. DK was willing to come out to see the actual job site and provided a proposal to do the work. No other paver contractor was interested in providing a proposal. I believe that DK is a firm interested in meeting the clients needs and is willing to work with the client to solve the problem.

Kathryn came up with a great design. The backyard has been transformed into more than a garden. It's a retreat. Her team works quickly and with a minimum of direction. However if you find that anything she did, didn't produced the results she promised she will say that it wasn't discussed. Among other issues I had an problem with a bender board, the workers were explicitly told to use stakes on it and despite this fact stakes were never used. Her attitude was bossy towards me in general and she would not admit it when she was wrong about something.

what is not mentioned is that the reason this client is upset is that she wanted dk to deal with a neighboring bamboo problem and wanted us to resolve that issue. my experience with issues such as this is that once you take them on you own them. i told the client that we had nothing to do with that issue and that she has to deal with her neighbor. she did not like our answer and thus wrote the above comments. she sighted benderboard, which was not an issue at the time to get our attention. we have gone out on two occasions to try and please this client. we thought at the end of the day that she was happy. this came as a surprise.

I Love my yard! Kathryn had alot of good ideas of what would look good and work for us. She installed entire new sprinkler system both front and back, new lawns, straightened walls, moved and attractively arranged river rock and added alot of new plants. The results are beautiful. After the job was finished she promptly came back to fix a few problems. She was very reliable and job was completed in good time. Her price was reasonable and she was generous with doing extra things.

Very very helpful in determining what will work for your yard. Kath will listen and discuss all aspects of your job, also open to your suggestions. Kath has tons a ideas and will work with you to make you happy. My yard is gorgeous and I have been given lots of compliments. I now can enjoy the outdoors and my backyard which I was not able to for the last 35 years!!! My fur babies also have a dog run of their own that can be enjoyed. I am completely blown away on how my yard turned out!m Thank you Kath!!

Totally Awesome service. Arrived promptly and I have NEVER seen a more hardworking and dedicated crew. They were efficient, fast, and completed the job in two days. They took care to clean up after themselves and we have been extremely impressed with the results. Without a doubt we will hire this company again for additional work in the future.

The installation of the retaining wall is very good. The preparation for the installation such as the excavation was well done. We had a problem with the final backfill and the response on the complaint is not good.

client wanted d&k to ensure the drip line behind the wall. we showed the client in the final walkthru where it was 5 to 6 inches down. d&k explained to the client that all that needs to be done is pick away a few inches thus would find the drip line. we did not feel necessary to comeout and show the client where it was since we had already done so and since he had a rach hand on staff that could do just that. this was not in the contract, d&k was merely paid to install a wall. client lived 40 miles from our location. i explained to the client that the ranch hand could easily find the drip hose behind the wall in less than 15 minutes.

D&K Landscape was fantastic. Kathryn took on what would be considered a smaller project and treated as special as if we were one of her larger clients. She and the guys completely tranformed our front, side and backyard. I loved the fact that Kathryn was able to just immediately see what needed to be done and came up with very cost effective solutions to accomplish the job! I've been meaning to write a more extensive "letter of recommendation" and just have not had the time ;-(
