Project: Build a New Closet
Our closet project turned out beautifully! They were quick,clean, and knew what they were doing! A little pricier than a general handyman, but the craftmanship is worth it.

Project: Install a New Skylight
The company refused to honor their own contract. Significant fees were added once the job was started giving me little choice but to pay them. The overall cost was almost double what we had agreed upon and what was listed in the signed contract.

While we appreciate the client's position, it is simply not true. We performed the work as contracted. The engineer found problems that impacted our work that were a result of previous work undertaken by the client and which compromised the structure of his home. We furnished fair pricing to make those repairs. We also offered to rework the contract so that he could postpone the interior finish of the skylight and use those funds to pay for the additional work. He chose not to and authorized us by written change order to do the extra work. Once the work was completed he did not pay for the work until we called multiple times to collect.

Project: Repair Window Frames
The workman, Igor, was delightful and skilled and the work was scheduled quickly. The bill came unitemized and only after I asked for it. Although I cannot reconcile the sum with the quote (which was plus parts), the difference is rather small. I did not challenge it.

Project: Repair, Replace or Seal an Existing Skylight
I only had this contractor over for an estimate - he was extremely pleasant and professional - and definitely knows his business. That having been said, this company would be a good choice for someone who is not concerned about price, and just wants the best work - and will likely receive a quality job quality. However, the estimate I got was quite high given the base cost of the materials, so I will keep the name of this contractor in reserve, but will need to keep looking.
