D. E. Cook Construction Company Owner & Founder, Douglas Cook is a native San Diegan, whose love of building construction is a family tradition. His passion for excellence led him to pursue the study of architectural engineering at both San Diego State University and UCLA. Following school, Doug went to work on projects in Fairbanks Ranch and Rancho Santa Fe, California, where he merged his formal education with his acquired project management skills. In 1981. Doug founded D.E. Cook Construction Company. Since the beginning, D.E Cook has been focused on quality craftsmanship in new home construction; custom home remodels and light commercial projects. Over the years, D.E. Cook has won the trust and respect of clients by taking a personalized approach to project planning & execution.
