Project: Build or Replace a Deck or Non-Masonry Porch
Jim Graves and his team did a great job on our deck and patio project. It started very positive with Jim being responsive and continued strong as he helped us patiently work through various options. The project changed scope from just a deck, to changing part of the plan to a patio and altering a few things along the way. Jim was very helpful in making good decisions and had no issues with us doing some of the work ourselves. He offered a lot of great suggestions and we are very happy with how our project turned out.

Project: Build or Replace a Deck or Non-Masonry Porch
Their contract is very basic, so I thought we established all the details via email. After the job was "complete" I brought up some items that seemed either to be incomplete, or just not done. They said they completed the "contract" and did "not want the situation to get ugly", which was strange. One example was we had a composite bench built, but the legs are straight wood. When asked about it, Jim said that "composite legs were not part of the contract" so we have a very odd bench. There is some kind of warranty with the work, but I worry accessing it. Secure a good contract before using them, or just find another contractor.

Our comment to this customer. Is that composite legs are not structural and they were informed this at the beginning of the job and we beleive they were trying to get something for free. The deck was completed in a professional matter. We have all conversations amd emails with this customer

Project: Build or Replace a Deck or Non-Masonry Porch
Jim Graves and his family did a wonderful job on our deck replacement project. He had good suggestions to help us put ideas we had into a finished product that looks great and has very little maintenance required in the future. In addition he had a great sub for the concrete work, another family business and that gentleman solved a problem for us on the front porch too. A friendly guy with an eye for details.
