The rate I charged for hanging the drapes was standard in the industry. The client failed to mention that there were five sets of draperies. We also had to move furniture, open packages containing rods and draperies, put together rods, apply drapery hooks and so on. We did much more than hang the draperies which is what we were hired to do. As far as ironing, my custom made drapes would have come fully pressed. Unfortunately, we were not asked to iron the store bought drapes. We would have done this upon request for an additional charge. The client said they would steam the draperies themselves.

Janet has fantastic ideas. She is very accommodating to your needs and wants. I wish I had sought her out sooner since this was the last room in the house that needed updating. Come to think of it, my granddaughter's room is almost ready for a redo. Janet will be my choice to call for help.

I liked the contractor very much. I gave her a deposit more than 50% down. She started the work. She had another job going on simontenously so its been about 2 weeks since she started and hasn't been able to complete the job, but she does beautiful work.
