In 1992 our owner, Shelton Monroe, was groundskeeper at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Not willing to settle for just being an employee, he took advantage of Johns Hopkins' continuing education program and enrolled in a locksmith course. Upon completing the program, Shelton decided to put his training to the test performing small jobs for friends and family. Twelve years later, Covenant Lock and Key is a full-time professional service business specializing in master key systems, alarms security systems, access control, door and hardware, CCTV (closed circuit television), and loss prevention systems.
