I contracted with Pete Perkins of Compass Solutions to update my kitchen and master bath . The tile man Brendan was competent but was constantly pressured by Pete that he took too much time. I paid Brendan the balance owed as I trusted that he would finish the job that evening. 1-He did not clean the location where he had been using his saw and left broken glass and debris as well as mastic on the floor 2-He did not install tiles up to the oven fan leaving a 1/2" gap, no caulking 3-The marble counter top in bath does not have a reveal over one side of the sink so water will get in Calls were not returned even after a call to SM was made.

We hired Compass Home Solutions to refinish our existing kitchen cabinets and install granite countertops. First off, I was thrilled with Pete during the initial planning process. He is a professional salesman and understands the process of a kitchen renovation. For example, he suggested purchasing new doors vs. refinishing our existing beat-up doors (which was the right call) and he was patient with us while we made our finish selections (switching back and forth a few times!) on both the cabinets and granite. My concern with Pete began when the job was about to start...he has a major lack of communication! He was not upfront with when things were being shipped or when his contractors would show up. The quality of our new cabinet doors are sub-par for the money we spent on them. The majority of the doors came in with a poor finish or damaged. It took several doors five times to get it right! (5! no exaggeration!!) I am still shocked at the quality of the product that Compass provides and I question why Pete still does business with this company. I gave Compass Home Solutions a so-so rating because of the way I was treated once Pete knew I was not happy with how the renovation was going. He didn't return phone calls, he was condescending and didn't seem to care I was frustrated. The other glimmer of hope for the project was all of Pete's subcontractors - the carpenters, granite installers, electrician and plumber were fabulous! When all said and done I love my kitchen but Pete promised me it would be complete in 7 days (I figured a month) and it really took 5 months. Proceed with caution!

Was planning to hire compass solutions to make and install countertops, but ended up hiring them to do my kitchen remodeling. No regrets ! Very professional, friendly and top notch quality. Would recommend them to anyone and would definitely hire them for my next project.

Compass Solution made tremendous job with very high quality from A to Z! Pete Perkins found cracks on granite slab and quickly replace it. The quote was really transparent. Great job! I'll recommend Compass to my friends.

pete perkins is the most professional contractor i have ever hired,he is simply awesome.great price,great feedback,beautiful craftsmanship and he even took me to the wharehouse to accually pick out the granine slab(not have to choose from a 2inch sample)if you are doing any granite or marlble work of any kind go with compass sollutions-you will not be dissapionted
