Columbia Heating is a family-owned and family-run business for two generations. Established in 1969, we are one of Washington's oldest and most respected heating and air conditioning companies. When Columbia installs your heater and air conditioner, you can be assured we will show up on time, complete the job on schedule, and leave your house clean. He came as promised, able to answer our questions, appears to be very knowledgeable about our furnace. Unfortunely, our furnace is having the same problem a week after he came, we may call him and inquiry about it in the future.

He showed up on time. I had an intermittent furnace problem (fan staying on but no heat), which he did not diagnose, but charged me for a service call ($97) and left. Three weeks later, I had the same problem, but he wouldn't come out since the furnace was heating again...on and off. I contact another Service Master Pro, who diagnosed the problem and fixed it the next day--bad control panel. I think my $97 was wasted on Columbia Heating.

When we were called over, the furnace was working. We thought it could be the control panel also, but wanted to be sure because it is an expensive part. We told her to let us know when it was out again. Instead, she called a second company. Obviously it was out when she called them so they could diagnose it. We weren't given that opportunity.

They were true professionals. They have many years of experience and are very knowledgeable about all aspects of heating your home. They were prompt giving an estimate (the price was great), showed up on time to do the work, and were done and completely cleaned up ahead of time. It took less than one day including the hook up to my existing A/C system, which now works better than it ever has. The new furnace is very quiet and does a great job. I believe Pat and Mark truly care about your needs and heating your home as efficiently and inexpensively as possible. I give them 6 stars!
