City: Saint Paul Project: Deck or Porch - Build or Replace My husband and I highly recommend hiring Coffeen Construction for any of your remodeling needs.  You're going to get a job well done if you do.  The owner, Dan Coffeen, is a true… Read Complete Rating My husband and I highly recommend hiring Coffeen Construction for any of your remodeling needs.  You're going to get a job well done if you do.  The owner, Dan Coffeen, is a true craftsman and a very genuine and easy person to work with.  He's also artistic so if you need help with ideas he will have them.  We started by hiring Dan Coffeen of Coffeen Construction to build a small deck for us in the summer of 2007.  It was beautifully and quickly done.   Also in 2007 Dan Coffeen built a stunning cedar gate and overhead arbor at the entrance of our garden which got lots of compliments.  In July 2008 Dan Coffeen built a second, larger deck and some pergola treatments on another side of our home and the result was again magnificent. In August 2008 Dan Coffeen did an interior remodel for us and we were in a bit of hurry which posed no problem.  Within 3 weeks, with the help of his crew, upstairs rooms were reconfigured including electrical, walls were removed, new walls were built, carpeting was removed and new flooring put down. Once again, the results were stunning.  We'll always call Coffeen Construction when we want to remodel and so should you! <br /> <br /> Rating: Project: Bathroom - Remodel Dan and his sub contractors were great.  Dan was very good at keeping me informed of scheduling and letting me know of any changes.  I was in a hurry to add the second bath and Dan… Read Complete Rating Dan and his sub contractors were great.  Dan was very good at keeping me informed of scheduling and letting me know of any changes.  I was in a hurry to add the second bath and Dan was not at all deterred by the quick start and finish request.  I needed to add a little additional work, no one even blinked, it was just taken care of.  I will certainly be hiring Dan and his crew again for additional work. <br /> <br />On a side note, I have a 4yo son who thinks 'construction guys' are heroes and Dan and the rest of the guys were extremely patient with him.
