Tom our inspector showed up an hour early just to go over the exterior of the house before we even got there. His ability to go over complex issues and explaining simple solutions and suggestions was terrific. I loved the fact that he used his Iphone as his main tool to notate issues/concerns as it made it easier to discuss the house instead of constantly notating. I would definitely recommend Clayton Home Inspectors to anyone I know.

Tom did an excellant job on our home inspection. He was very thorough! When he says he will inspect your home as if he was buying it, he means it! Tom was knowledgeable about all the systems in the home. He gave us insight on maintenance and operation. When I first contacted Clayton Home Inpection, I was very impressed with his professionlism and knowledge. The next day I received emails from him detailing the home insection process and pricing for any additional items we might feel we needed to have tested: radon testing, well water quantity and quality test, My husband and myself were very impressed with Tom.

Tom was very thorough during his inspection and provided good insights into potential issues. The $100 charge by the inspector for a radon test that is administered by an outside company, not the inspector, seems excessive. Overall Tom delivered exceptional inspection services and had the report in my hand the next day.
Comment from Clayton Home Inspection, Inc.
The actual cost of the Radon in Air test was $75.00 which is the typical charge for that type of testing. Any Radon testing is done at an independent lab, no licensed Home Inspector will conduct the actual testing & results. The type of test kit Clayton Home Inspection uses produces a more accurate test results. The test kits we use comply with the guidelines set by AARST & EPA for a Real Estate transaction.
