Not enough flooring was ordered for the job, and they were supposed to contact me the day the installer finished with what he could. I had to contact them, i still haven't heard back from them.

Floors are beautiful, but many communication problems. Customers should know that the unsigned estimate is their contract and there is no warranty. The estimate of 3-4 days took 5 days and a come back of 2 hours due to clarifications. They put shoe molding everywhere but around the fireplace and recommended caulking the area with mortar. I guess this should have been spelled out in a signed contract. They left uncovered nail holes in the threshold at the bathroom. They had no gloss samples after 20 years in the business. They fixed everything but not without frustration. Very expensive. Approximately $1300 per sq.ft. Do a final walkthru.

We are a bit surprised by this review; however we completed this work to the exact specifications of the contract as we always do.Our contract was in the clients hands for 3 months prior to work, we are always happy to answer any questions that arise. After 20 years, Classic Remains the highest rated floor company in North EASTERN Ohio, AND HER FLOORS ARE BEAUTIFUL as she stated. I do hope that all who read this will read the other 22 reviews and learn that we are credible, professional, have dozens of references, and an A rating with BBB. we used them for our living room. they do good work but are soooo pricey we just couldn't afford them

Well I am not sure what to say other than, we are not a two men and a truck operation, yet we are very competitively priced within our city. Most importantly, for 17 years Classic has been of the highest reated flooring companies in Northeastern Ohio. We are insured, professional, responsive, we use the best people and material in the industry. This consumer rated Classic highly for performance, yet they did not like the price, which they reviewed in advance of the job. I am happy that they are very satisfied with the new floor.
