Citistar refinished my front door as per bid. The painter was late on two occassions due to unexpected car trouble and traffic situation, but put in extra effort upon arrival to insure that the work was done appropriately.

I needed my job quickly because it was an exterior job. They called right away, gave me a quote over the phone, booked the job for the next day, came to my house that evening to preview the job, and showed up promptly the next morning. The job was finished in a timely manner and was a fair price. Jim came out again later that day to make sure the job was to my satisfaction. I was very impressed with the whole professional process. I would recommend to anyone.

Very pleased with the work done on my custom book shelves. They made it look 10 times better on the finish and did a wonderful job preparing the room. Would recommend to friends and family and would like to use them again for other paint and staining home improvements.

Fees were very reasonable compared with other bids received. Painters were reliable and friendly and did a great job. We were very happy with the service and would use again in the future.

CitiStar Painting did an excellent job. The painter was neat, clean and the job was done to perfection. I have contacted Jim Knight to do several more painting jobs for me. I am very please with their work.

Painters were inconsiderate, using without permission every bathroom to wash brushes, ruining with spirits a laminate floor, and scratching furniture. The owner's response was that "his people" do not do these things. The painters appeared to resent attempts to discuss their work, because "they knew what they were doing". Quality varied by room, mostly acceptable but some areas with poor finish or sloppy. Touch-up could not solve some of the problems. The price would have been fair had the job been done right. The owner listened to these complaints and visited, then never got back to us, despite our pursuing him for a response.
