Well first, I wouldn't quite use the term "professional" and here's why. While they were digging to put the new pipe in the ground, or maybe on of the trees, they struck the pool return line and flooded the entire back yard. My wife, who was home at the time, said the workers, who didn't speak English, we all running around "like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off" because they didn't know what to do. They did fix the line but left pieces of the PVC pipe they broke all over the back yard. Next, when they installed the new water drip irrigation system they disconnected the existing irrigation system I had already in the ground so my small lawn wasn't getting water. When they called and wanted their final payment I told them that the workers had disconnected my existing system for the lawn and I wanted it fixed. So they sent a worker back out and he cut into the new line and spliced in my old system so I could get water to the lawn but then walked off and left both the new and the old water lines exposed on top of the ground. Kyle, my project manager from Champion, called back and wanted the final payment, I told him to meet me at the house and he did. I showed him the exposed pipe laying on top of the ground and he buried it himself and I gave him his final check. So, basically a job that should have taken, at most a day, took three weeks! No more for Champion and would warn others to stay clear unless they have time to project manage the work themselves, speak good spanish in order to communicate with the workers and know what to do when something bad happens. The only reason I didn't give them a 'very poor' rating was that Kyle was at least apologetic and courteous which was appreciated.
