They explained that they would be late, and when they arrived they were very nice, very professional. They cleaned our chimney and went on to explain about some problems that might crop up in the future, gave us some brochures. We asked about cleaning the dryer duct and they agreed to do that as well. All in all, a good experience. Oh, and they gave us a discount for being late.

the two gentleman that perform the work were good at what they do. they laid out tarp from the rear door of the basement to the fire place. clean-up after they were done

Update 12/2/10: After a quick discussion with Champion, we rescheduled for another date. They came and did the job. Quick, and professional. Did not call 30 min prior thought. 11/27/1010 They were very courteous on the phone when arranging for a time to show. Their estimate was actually the higher of the 2 other estimates that I got, but after the 20% discount, it came out to equal my other lowest estimate. They gave me a window of noon-4PM on Saturday of when they service technician would show up and said that they would call 30 minutes before hand. I'm giving them a 1 star because they wasted my day. No call, and no one showed.

They were very helpful and honest. They told me the truth and we ended up using them for another service. The only problem I had was that when you call the person answering the phone is extremely busy. I believe he's the boss and even though he is busy, he is helpful and does try to answer every question and is polite even though you can hear the rush in his voice.

They called 30 minutes before arriving as requested and showed up on time. The guys who did the work were efficient, courteous, and respectful. When they were done, they gave me good information about my fireplace and chimney. I just bought my house and have never used the fireplace. They explained how to use it and avoid some of the pitfalls of having the kind of fireplace I have. They also explained the maintenance issues common to my type of fireplace. In the end, it was well worth the price even though the chimney was clean.

Being a remodeling contractor for 35 years, I know good workmen when I see them. These folks were on time, on buget, well equiped, knowledgeable & a pleasure to have in my home. They took precautions in order to leave things as clean as could be expected. This is my second experience with this company & they are maintaining their good standards.

They were punctual, nice, and met my needs and beyond for fixing/cleaning my fireplaces! I needed the repairs to be done so I could pass a home inspection to sell my house, and the buyer LOVED the repairs! Thanks.
