I was very impressed with the work that Chabod did. They were prompt and professional when they came out to give me a bid, and those traits definitely carried over to the job. I was impressed that they were always here when they said they would be and never seemed to waste a moment of time. The project that they did for me was not the easiest in the world; it included the insulating and drywalling of 3 closets that are only about four feet high and two feet wide. They also did loose-fill in my attic and front wall. It was a huge mess, but they did bring someone to clean on the last day. Their work ethic was refreshing and I'll use them again!

Very polite, meticulous worker. Took the time to clean my glass doors and vacuum any mess before leaving. Met my time schedule well by making the appointment on a Friday morning. I would call him again!

They were very professional gave me a written estimate and signed contract. They did the work as scheduled. Explained everything throughly. All employees were friendly and courteous.

Project: Repair Drywall
In all fairness, I will state the good before the bad. The contractor did perform the work promptly and cleaned up after himself well. In addition, when one of his crew inadvertently broke a globe on the hall light, he reimbursed us more than fairly for the damage. Even though my parents, who are the homeowners paid for the job I am not happy with the quality of the work. MY idea of PROFESSIONAL drywall repair is a repair that is undetectable. I can see the imperfections in most of the repairs. There was also some misunderstanding about what all was to be done. Our fault too because we failed to get a very explicit contract before hand.

Chabod Construction did OK in prompt bidding and job completion, but I was not pleased with the responses to my requests for confirmation of work done. I was promised pictures of the property would be sent at completion of the work. However I did not get complete pictures, and the ones sent were difficult to see. When I asked for them to be sent in another format, my requests were ignored. Since I am a long distance customer I will need to conduct business by e-mail, phone, and regular mail. The e-mail communications have been poor therefore I may need to find a different contractor for future work.
