The painting itself ended up OK. It is definitely not a perfect paint job. The biggest disappointment was that Will came to my house to sell me on his company, but then I never saw him again. I felt that he would show up at sometime to do some quality control on the crew. Instead, I felt like I had to rush to decide whether or not the paint job was good enough--almost like a defacto supervisor. He should have been there to inspect the work and provide direction before I ever had to inspect everything. <br /> <br />A few of the problems that occurred during the job.. <br />-The pressure washers didn't check with us to see if water was coming into our house. Part of our basement was covered with mud that had sprayed through the windows. <br />-The cleaning crew didn't take the storm windows off, so the window sills weren't very clean for the painters. It seems that in several places they simply painted over dirt and debris. <br />-The first painting crew that showed up left something on our front lawn that left a patch of burned grass there. <br />-Other plants were trampled during the painting. <br />-Some of the painted lines were clean, but there are lots of little blobs of paint on our glass. <br />-The tape they used left a spotted a residue on many of our windows. I'm going to have to pay to have them all professionally cleaned. <br /> <br />I feel like many of these problems could have been avoided if someone were there to actually supervise the work.

Certipro exceeded our expectations in pretty much every way.  They were extremely flexible in scheduling a walk through estimate and then coming back again to review the final colors and changes.  We were working off of a very tight schedule due to moving into the house and having a baby due within a week, so their attention to detail and schedule was appreciated.  They checked in every day on their progress and advising any troubles they ran into.  The house was in pretty bad shape from the previoius owners with a lot of poor surfaces and difficult legacy colors to paint over, but they did a fantastic job.  We were really impressed and would recommend them to anyone.
