The install was delayed when they didn't have the correct replacement panels. Once they returned with the correct panels, they installed one with incorrect measurement markings across one. They mentioned that I needed to follow the correct curing procedures for the panels, or it wouldn't be warrantied work. The procedures, of course, were in the other truck. It then took 15 days to get the directions, eventually verbally over the phone. The work itself appears to be quality, except for the cosmetic flaws from the markings. Customer service leaves some to be desired.

My call to was because the flame on our 6 year old Flame Glo gas fireplace wasn't what it used to be. Carl (owner) came out and dismantled/cleaned the fireplace. When it was reassembled and turned on the flame was the same as it had been and the logs were put back into the unit in a "not so appealing" fashion. When we turned on the fireplace the next weekend, we had gas leaking into our home. He came back and fixed the leak. A couple weeks later we turned on the fireplace and after about 10 minutes, it shut itself off. We called them again, Carl was to call my husband to come back out and to date we haven't heard from them.

Company came out, spent a short time to tell me the gas lines did not have enough pressure and said to call the gas company. The gas company came out and found there was no pressure problem, just clogged lines in the pilot. Chimney Repair returned the next day to do the work and got the fireplace to light. However after they left I can not get the fireplace to stay lit for over 30 seconds. Not at all satisfied.

They were on-time, courteous and very knowledgeable about my gas fireplace and chimney. The service man (and co-owner) took the time to explain the inspection and what he found and didn't treat me like a "dummy" even though I don't know much about gas fireplaces. I highly recommend them.

Very professional. Able to answer all my questions. Even able to explain why the siding on the chimney was distorted (not a chimney problem). Will definitely have them back and will recommend there service.

They were prompt in contacting me and setting up an appointment. Carl, the repairman, arrived ahead of the scheduled time and got the job done quickly. I can't certify that any leaks are fixed, since it hasn't rained in 2 months. However, I'm certain that the job was well done based on the professional manner in which Central Indiana Chimney Repair responded to the service request.

He seemed to know what he was doing, however he did not spend much time. I think the price charged was to high for the amount of time he was here. This was easy money for him and the company. I can't tell what kind of job he did. Communicatiom was weak. I guess will find out this fall when I FIRE UP.......................

Our fee is provided prior to service. It doesn't generally take a lot of time to clean a chimney . . . although it can. We have no way of knowing how long it will take until we arrive & see what we are dealing with. I'm sure you understand that though it may seem like "easy money," based on the actual time at your home, there are many costs to running a business; advertising so we can let you know we exist & what we do, office staff & overhead, gas to & from each job, money to keep a warehouse full of items to do the job, repairs on vehicles, equipment, etc. We go in, do a thorough & complete job & thank you so you can get on with your day.
