The work was done well. They were able to start and finish the job quickly. The price was the highest. Commication between workers and the person who performed the bid did not seem ideal. Also, they never spoke with me to see if the work was done to my satisfaction.

I would recommend Celtic Painting with qualifications. Celtic provided a very competitive price and were prompt and fast at completing my job considering weather problems. The hand work was excellent. Knowing what I know now, I would insist on 3 coats for a sprayed exterior job rather than 2. The majority of their work was good and the crew worked fast. I was disappointed with some of the prep and cleanup work. There were a few minor problems I didn't notice until the weather cleared. Some accidental overspray on some evergreens could have been prevented with drop cloths. I would consider them again but watch them much more closely.

Overall, great job. There was one spot above the mirror that wasn't textured like the rest of the wall. I thought the painter might have been able to blend it in better.

Celtic did an excellent job with all our painting requests -- including the additional room we requested after they'd finished our original job! They will be called upon again when we finish out our basement. EXCELLENT is not strong enough a word to describe the job and professionalism.

Project: Repair Drywall
The previous owners of this home had not properly repaired damage to the drywall throughout the house. The house also is 30 years old and the original contractor did not exactly do very good work either. The whole point of hiring a restoration specialist as Celtic Painting advertises themselves was to have the drywall damage repaired and to have the orginal but poorly done work corrected. I had to have them come back out twice after the job was done to "try it again". I do not feel that I got my moneys worth for the job that was done. As the old saying goes if you want it done right then you have to do it yourself..I don't recommend them

It is our contention that the expectations of the customer where unrealistic for the work that we where asked to undertake. Much of what we where asked to come back out for was for items that where not in what we considered the original scope of work but we took care of those issues anyhow.

The workmen were very considerate and professional. They were very considerate of my neighbors homes as well as ours. They even put a tarp over my neighbor's car to make sure no paint got on it. They answered my questions. After the job was completed, I noticed some paint overspray on my windows. I called Celtic and someone came the same afternoon and took care of the problem. I guess I should add that when they power washed our house, it was a bit of a different story. I have not mentioned this to Celtic as I keep forgetting. I'm sure they would have responded properly to the situation though.
