Carpentry By Lucy has been in business in Asheville for over 21 years. We do all types of carpentry including rough and finish carpentry.Some of our favorite projects we love doing include crown molding,basement remodels,screening in a porch,all types of sheetrock including hanging, finishing, and repair,interior painting and wall paper removal, replacing and installing new doors and trim, building a closet,install spiral staircase(kit),removing walls including load bearing walls,opening up existing walls with arches and cased openings,bookcases fixed or adjustable(free standing or built-in excluding doors,repair work of course, opening walls for doors,baseboard and basecap,1/4" drywall over old plaster ceilings & walls,fireplace mantels,removal of kitchen cabinets & prep kitchen for new cabinets.Lucy is a certified master residential carpenter. She also earned her journeymen's card in 1983 after a 4 year apprenticeship program. At the present time we have 2 full time employees.
