Project: Repair Brick or Stone Flatwork

He replaced an existing retaining wall with new Anchor concrete block. Workmanship was average, cleanup was below average. His labor pricing was high, about $75 per hour per man. He had one helper with him. He left the job in the afternoon and left his employee to complete the job including the cleanup. He came back later to pick up payment of 50% of total cost and agreed to wait to May 30th for the final payment. He did not include a price to install the top cap blocks on the wall. We did not discuss this prior to finalizing the cost. He then quoted $450 additional cost for installing these cap blocks. I felt this was a high price, so I got the price from the same supplier he uses. I purchased them for a cheaper price and had them delivered. Total cost to me was $270.

We feel we are fair and honest with our customers. Our Supplier states customer was misquoted price. Pricing on labor is customers interpretation, as our proposal pricing includes material,equipment,labor, etc. Needed for project in one total sum. We had only one employee on this project, as others were working elsewhere. Our company strives to keep our customers satisfied with our workmanship.

Bob and his team were great!!! He spent a lot of time helping us put together our design and the timing and execution of the installation went far beyond our expectations! I will recommend him to all of our neighbor and friends! His experience in this business comes out beautifully in his work! The quality is superb! Thank you Bob! We couldn't be happier with this project and would love to work with you again in the future!

Project went as was described. Worked around his schedule to accomodate a paver installation prior to closing on a property. Very professional mannor. Good installation, expecting no problems with frost heaves or settling, but he would be willing to come back and correct problems should they arrise.
