Project: Install or Replace Exterior Doors
So far I have been very disappointed with Castle. Doors were order on 12/1/2011 with a delivery contract of 12/26-12/27 and a 1/3 down-payment. This would insure the $300. tax credit and installation before the cold weather. On 12/15 I was notified that the installation date was not scheduled until 1/26 which means do tax credit. I was told I could pay in advance if I wanted the tax credit. On 12/ 22 I was told the salesman sold be the wrong size door and I needed to pick a new model door. Doors are not scheduled for late January. Please check back for update on doors.

I really feel Castle was the best choice. The windows have a lifetime guarantee and the installation was quick, and no mess. All the windows are custom made to make sure that the fit of each window is exact. Salesman was great and no pressure. I did my homework in reading up on the different companies and what they offer. Most do not make the windows, the just install and the warrenties are not for everything and are for a short period of time.

We were very pleased from the sales process to a speedy production and a flawless installation of our custom-sized windows. Castle offered many incentives that actually came in under budget, compared to the other companies. The new windows are simply fabulous & Castle was one of the best contractors we've ever worked with! Would highly recommend them.

Quality of windows and workmanship was very good. Installers did a few extra things. Customer service was very poor and several conversations with a supervisor was needed to try to resolve issues.

Installer complained about others making him walk a block to a bathroom. Then he lost his cell phone and asked me to call his # (3x) before he found the phone on the bottom of his truck. He quickly wanted to leave after he was done and watched me fill out the end of job report. I was hesitant to fill out anything negative because he stood there watching. After he left, I check out the areas for clean-up. My basement stairs and basement floor were loaded with debris. He didn't demonstrate how to use the doors or window. I had to ask him and demonstrate how to use the door. He left a big sticker on the window-difficult to remove.

The sales rep was friendly and informative. He was able to point out a few things that the other companies missed. The guys who installed the windows cleaned up afterwards and made sure not to damage anything.
