The owner can be a little "rough around the edges", however, he is exceptionally thorough, knowledgeable, and explained the issues of the home so that we understood fully the implications of those issues.

A Thorough inspection was done. He was a little rushed toward the end. I had to remind him to check my sill plate from inside. other than that he did a good job and later gave me an excellent report on the inspection with pictures.

I had a great experience. The inspector that came out, Alan, was very thorough and he went over everything with my wife and myself. We feel a lot more comfortable now moving in to the house knowing what it is we have to improve upon and fix up around the house

Although Mr Tanner was willing to take on the job, I did not use Capital District Home Inspectors because they are located in upstate NY and my property is in Vt. I was able to find someone closer.

Allen and his assistant Chris inspected the home we are looking to purchase. They provided us with a fully detailed 70 page report, which included pictures and their recommendations. Very professional, and very thorough!
