CTL Construction, Inc.

This is the second time we've used the CTL team, and again, we couldn't be happier. This was for city-mandated upgrades to a rental unit, so not only did CTL have to keep to an extremely tight schedule, they also had to deal with a difficult tenant situation (our tenants had a brand-new baby and were in no mood for a home improvement project). CTL finished the job on-time, managed our tenants' expectations (and tempers) flawlessly, and dealt with the Housing, Building, and permit folks on our behalf. When dealing with a tough situation, it's great to know you have real professionals in your corner, and I would hire CTL again in a heartbeat.

David and his team were great from start to finish -- from initial discussions about our project to its final completion, everyone who worked on our house was friendly and accessible, all the work was top-notch, and David was always quick to respond whenever we had a question. Our project was a general "polish" to give our house a bit of a facelift and involved carpentry, flooring, plumbing, painting, tiling and more -- We are extremely satisfied, and I could not recommend CTL construction more highly. When I hear horror stories about other people's home improvement projects, I am so happy we picked CTL over other companies who put in bids.

CTL was very friendly and pleasant to work with throughout the remodeling process in my condo. CTL Construction Company was also quite helpful in providing good tips and completed the project to my satisfaction. Work was thorough and high quality, I was satisfied with the remodeling end product.

Our contract stated that the job would be completed on 12/9/05. Their sales person and I stopped speaking 1/2 way through the project because of his insubbordinate attitutude. While their crew was friendly and jovial, they were extrmely careless with our belongings and filthy in their work habits. I would not hire this company again nor would I reccomend them to anyone else. While I am satisfied (note: not thrilled) with the work they've done, I dont think you should have to hold your contractors hand and badger them to do the work they were contracted to do.

You can see by our other 5 star reviews that this review doesn't seem to fit our profile. This customer actually doubled the amount of work half way through this job which extended the deadline considerably. Call us and we can supply you with a dozen references and ph numbers of very satisfied customers.

Our family's experience with CTL construction was very positive! We chose this company to add a family room, add a walk-in closet in the master bedroom, and do a complete kitchen remodel. We were so pleased with the quality of work and the attention that our project received that we have already recommended CTL to a number of our friends!
