we interviewed several different stair contractors before we decided that Chris was a great fit. Before he even began the work, we felt comfortable with his friendly, relaxed demeanor. He is low key but definitely a professional in every aspect. He arrives on time, works nonstop throughout the day and is very neat. I would definitely call him a perfectionist. The design we asked for was no simple project but he completed it and when it was done, it looked just the way I had imagined. Chris is the guy you want if you are re doing your staircase or doing any type of finish work and his prices are pretty good too

Chris is a very good contractor. Gave a good bid and performed on time. His painting contractor is also very good. Done good work and my suggestion to him will be to make a web album for the finished work.

Chris did an excellent job in doing the crown molding along with the trim around all the doors. He did such a great job we asked him to come back to do the base trim. Thank you Chris!

I would recommend CSS Finish & Stairs without reservations. They were extremely courteous, pricing was very reasonable and the work was meticulous. The rooms look extremely classy now. Chris was a gem to work with.

Chris did excellent work all the way around - from customer service, to material to the finish job. He replaced my regular base boards with beautiful 4' designer done just perfectly - in fact the painter said he did a terrific job cutting around corners and the AC intake grate. Chris also did the moulding around the kitchen lighting project that is beautiful. If you are looking for someone that does great work at a resonable cost - you found him !! I received bids from five companies for completely ripping out the carpet, cutting out the wall, and converting my stairs to hardwood with wrought iron balusters. Chris called me immediately, came out for an estimate within a day, was friendly, and patient as I made my decision. He started the work shortly after I notified him I had selected his company--the job only took six days of total work. It was BY FAR the easiest home project I've had done on my house, and I attribute this to Chris's professionalism and skill. Great work. I'd highly recommend this company.

The finished product is beautiful. Chris was very professional, patient and accomodating. His work was finished on schedule. The staining and painting was delayed because of weather conditions. When contacted, the painter returned to correct flaws in the finish as scheduled and with out problems.
