We couldn't be happier with the quality, service and value that we received from C. Pate Construction. Jeramie and his team provided a walkway to help my recently wheel chair bound mother exit and enter the home. The pathway is perfect and they did the work in two short day. The job from beginning to end when I solicited C. Pate for a quote through Service Magic, until completion of the job was an astonishing 5 days. The team was respectful to my parents and cleaned up perfectly. I cannot be happier.

C. Pate Construction poured a concrete floor in our sun room. The floor started to crack within days of it being poured. I understand that concrete will crack a little but there are tiny cracks running all throughout the floor that tells me the slab is too thin. It is not level which required us to cut the bottom of our doors to be able to open them fully causing a significant gap between the floor and doors when they are closed. They sealed the floor without making sure it was clean and free of debris so now it has little specks of debris and stains in it. We have called them several times but they do not answer or reply to our voice mails.

This is a unfortunate situation. We tried to sell the customer a more appropriate product, however they decided to save money and take a chance with a thin layer of concrete. We poured the concrete exactly as contracted to do. This is a sun room over a garage and the roof/floor supports for the concrete floor flex and move. This movement allows the concrete to flex thus cracking. We informed the customer that this could happen and urged him to choose a different product which he did not do to save money. We are only guilty of giving the customer what he wanted. To date I have received no calls about this. Sincerely, Chris Pate
