Quick, hardworking movers with a great attitude. My only issue: The boss said on the phone "not to worry about parking, we are used to Manhattan parking." Not true! They could not find parking once they got to the new move location, double parked, and I had to pay the parking ticket of $100.
Other than that, I was happy as could be.

Project: Move a Piano
I was surprised when the movers came in without a dolly, but they explained that they could move the piano by just carrying it and they were right. They did an excellent job, and I was very happy that i called professionals to take care of this for me as I thought it was well worth the cost so as to avoid any damage to the instrument.

Big Apple made this the best move I have had. From the initial quote which was done very effectively to the actual move, the company was quite impressive.
They 'crew' was amazing. They were on time, fast yet careful, efficient and very pleasant. I actually enjoyed this move which is not something you hear often.
I highly recommend Big Apple Moving!!

The initial estimate on the phone (asking me what needed to be moved) was very informal and quick but turned out to be extremely important because the truck ran out of space. I rented a car and moved the rest myself. Also I got a call the day before the move telling me they had to reschedule, which was impossible for me to do given my lease end date. They worked it out to do the move on the scheduled date. Otherwise the movers were quick and efficient. One of them was exceptional, one was very grumpy and kept complaining about the size of the job and the fact it was Mothers day. I would recommend them but use a strong hand to guide them

Big Apple was price effective, not the lowest, but very close, and they were very nice movers that took good care of my stuff. I was only moving across Manhattan, with a 1BR, it took around 3 hours with 4 guys. They put my stuff where I wanted it and when I asked them to wrap expensive items well they did a good job. Very satisfied with the service.
