Very prompt and thorough in inspection. Installation was done asap and apparently well from all we can tell thus far (2 months later). We have had to wait to finish the air conditioning install until spring, but that will be done well too, I am sure.

They forgot to show up for the diagnostic appointment. When they did show up three hours later, the technician did not bring any tools or parts for the repair. We still ended up using them since they agreed to drop their final price for the trouble they caused us.
Comment from Better Air
This customer requested service on New Years Eve. We did arrive late due to a scheduling error and heavy call volume but we did call the customer to advise them of our schedule. The house was a vacant rental. The parts needed were only available from a supply warehouse which was closed for the holiday. It would have been very costly to pay after hours fees to open the supply house and get the parts. We recommended doing the repair on another day and agreed to return after the holiday to perform the repair. Our cooperation helped save the customer several hundred dollars. I'm sorry they did not see the value and cost savings we provided.

Review by Linda H.in West Valley, UT Project: Repair Natural Gas or Propane Furnace / Forced Air Heating System
John Long was very straight forward and HONEST. He assessed the situtation and rather than replacing the furnace he recommended a repair costing much less. The technician arrived promptly with the part to repair the furnance, which was done with great skill and efficiency.
John also recommended a "tune up" on both of my furnances - which he had the technician complete at no charge.

Working with this company was absolutely fantastic. John was extremely professional. The entire process was explained thoroughly and completely. John and his staff was very punctual, friendly and efficient. The work was done in less time than it was quoted. John was available to answer all of my questions and was very considerate of all of my concerns. The price was extremely competitive and in fact, a little lower than some of their competitors. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and plan to use them in the future for other work that I need to have done. Thank you!

Review by John G.in Syracuse, UT Project: Repair Natural Gas or Propane Furnace / Forced Air Heating System
I called Affordable Air after Whipple came out and told us our heat exchange was damaged, leaking CO, and that we needed to replace it. Affordable Air did a thorough CO testing and did not find any CO being leaked or build up on the heat exchange that would denote a leak. They also checked the condition of the heat exchange, which turned out to be in good shape. Out of curiosity, I asked what their price for a new, 95% efficient, multi-mode furnace would be and it was half the price of Whipple's qoute. Thanks Mark for helping us save thousands by not needing to replace something that did not need replacing.

Review by a customerin Salt Lake City, UT Project: Install a Central Air Conditioning System
It took a long time to get the unit installed. That is probably not their fault but I do not know. I still do not have a final bill yet for the services. The tech was a very nice kid. Time will tell because it is too early to rate the unit until the weather gets warmer. The still have work to complete and they have not installed the digital thermostat.

Review by a customerin Salt Lake City, UT Project: Install or Replace a Central Air Cleaner
Installation was completed ahead of scheduled time, very efficient and very clean, with respect for my personal residence as well as the neighboring units(condominium). They made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed upon completion.
