Project: Repair or Service a Central Air Conditioning System

Project: Gas Furnace / Forced Air Heating System - Install

Service was contracted for a 80k btu 21 in. unit that was being replaced, but a 17 in 80k btu unit was installed due to spacing constraints. The crew was very professional, friendly and efficient.

Benchmark was a very great professional company, they called me right away and scheduled my service call promptly. The service Tech was 15 mins early and was very nice and explained everything where I could understand it. He fix the problem and it was $100 cheaper then what a bigger named company charged a friend of mine for the same repair. I would recommend them to all my friend and now this is the only company I'll us for now on out.

My air conditioner was leaking so I called to get a price for an evaluation. I was given a quote for an estimate, and had them come out. The service professional came out, and assessed the situation, then cleaned my AC for about ten minutes. After which he said there was nothing he could do for the leak other than replace the entire system. He did not attempt to find the source of the leak, only stating what he thought the problem might be. He then charged me $20 more than the estimate I got over the phone. My AC is still leaking.

Project: Oil Furnace / Forced Air Heating System - Repair

We had a problem with a leaking forced air kersonese heater. Cons: heater began to leak again shortly after they left (same day). I called 4 x in 3 days & no one ever returned my calls. When calling, it is an answering service so there are no in-office employees/mangers to speak with. My last call, I was told they would contact "the other owner" who did not call back either. Prices avg Pros: they came out the same day I called, there were repeated status calls (as this was for my 85 year old grandfather) & they did temporarily appear to fix the heater. Gave 10% discount for being a senior citizen. Now fixed income senior has to pay 2x
