The one area I recommend for improvement is proactive communication. The job was at a rental property. I was not able to be on sight or meet up at the end of every day. I would have preferred the contractor provide a daily proactive report out in the form of a status (work completed) and a go forward work plan (timing of work left to complete). The part of customer service I value the most is proactive expectation management. This allows me to plan as well. As the customer, you don’t want to have to chase it down.

Dan takes pride in his job and does the job right. Expect the job to take a little longer than estimated, but worth the wait as Dan will not rush a job to complete it on time. Unlike some contractors I have dealt with in the past, he will not sacrifice quality in order to finish the job earlier. My only concern is the clean up at the end of a job. I am far more particular than most people, but I was left with some clean up to do outside my home from tile dust after the job was completed. Overall, Dan does a great job, is easy to work with, and truly cares about the service he provides. So good that I hired him to re-do my master bath too.

Dan was great at keeping us involved and updated throughout the entire process. He does great work and manages his sub-contractors well and leaves the place spotless upon completion. Highly recommended!
