My Seattle based company recently had a client expand into Northern California. After a lot of searching we found Beacon Electric on this website and made arrangements to get an estimate.  Unfortunately, the estimate exceeded the budget alloted by the company and we had to look elsewhere.   We got an invoice for almost $400 a few weeks later.  Initially we had agreed to compensate the contractor for time to go out and do the estimate, which over the phone we were told would be and hour, no more than two!  The invoice reflected almost 4 hrs of charges.  After trying to reason with the owner about the original agreement we were forced to pay.

They called right away! <br />Made an appointment to come out for an estimate. <br />Showed up EARLY! <br />VERY fair estimate was given for a multi lamp project - outdoors. <br />Was able to do the work right away. <br />Cleaned up when finished, and everything is working as it should!
