The owner of Backyard Renovations is one of the few Certified (Paver) Installers gradulated by the Institute of Concrete Pavers Institute (ICPI) available in the San Antonio area. Our company brings the same exacting standards to every single job we do, whether there is a certification available or not. We provide creative solutions for outdoor living spaces. If you want an outdoor space that's as beautiful and functional as the inside of your home, we can do it all for you. We do specialize in decks, brick, pavers and stone. Our paving, brick and stone work is exceptional and stunning. The placement of every single block in the right place is important to us. The sum of all those perfectly placed pieces make up a beautiful and perfect mosaic. We'll do the job and do it right. Our logo should be a smiley face because our customers are so happy!

Daniel w/Backyard Renovations worked with me to get my project done within my budget. Once they started he kept me informed each day. I was very pleased with the outcome of my sidewalk and patio. Good job.

I am very happy with the raised stone flower bed that Daniel and Backyard Renovations built for me. It took extra effort on their part to match the stone to the house and it exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Daniel, and your patient workers.

Daniel was very easy to work with. He invited us to see previous jobs he had accomplished and talk to previous customers which we did. As excavation and the layout was being done, Daniel identified that one side of the patio was going to be much higher than we had anticipated. He offered us a couple of different no cost alternatives to remedy the situation that we were greatful for. There was one issue we identified that needed to be corrected at the very end of the project and Daniel and his crew responded immediately and corrected the problem. We are very happy with our new Paver patio and highly recommend Backyard Renovations.

Not only were his prices fair, but he also provided outstanding service and quality. Daniel had knowledgeable, timely & efficient workers. Plus, the product he provided was of excellent quality. It was a pleasure doing business with him and I will certainly use him for future outdoor living projects.

Great experience from start to finish! Daniel brought samples, gave me ideas, and worked with me through the entire process, which was somewhat of a challenge in that a lot of the material was already on hand but in limited supply. He re-worked the original job and added onto it in a way that made it all look very cohesive. He is extremely knowledgeable, and spoke very candidly with me about the pros and cons of different ideas until we worked out a plan that made us both happy. GORGEOUS results by a true professional. I'll use Daniel wherever I can, and will enthusiastically recommend him to friends, family, & neighbors!

They did the job to completion however, when a few of the flowers died we called him to replace them since he said we have a 30 day guarantee, but he never returned phone calls. We placed several calls all were ignored. We eventually had to replace the flowers ourselves. He even suggested upgrades for our backyard but never bothered to follow up. We could have been a long time customer but he didn't seem to care. He never contacted us. He also seemed a bit pricey for the work that was done. The bottom line is he didn't seem to care about the job.

I felt what I got for my money was not a good deal. The plants were nice. However, what the service manager and I talked about and what I expected were not the same. I had an existing landscape done several years ago, that was dying, and I needed an update. I asked for flowers with colors (yellows, reds) and scrubs that were low maintenance. I asked for dark mulch in all planted areas. I had large white rocks that bordered the planting area that had not been touch.(looked shotty, not aligned or reset). In one plant area there was no mulch placed there at all. I was out of town on business for about three weeks, and I was not happy. Enough said. Hope this helps the next person dealing with this company…
