Quality was good, scheduling was difficult and unpredictable, business practices as far as honoring bid was not acceptable.

I hired Patrick for the polite way he left his message on my phone. He came right over and said he would hang my lights the next day. I had a huge birch tree in front yard and needed tall ladders. He brought a buddy and they worked for 9 hours wrapping and rewrapping the tree and it's limbs. He is an artist, and he did some fancy stringing of the lights by my front door. Also, we had a very simple job in the back of the house with just hanging some simple ice cycles. That just took an hour. They were nice guys, polite. Only problem, 2 days later, none of the lights worked on the front of the house and birch tree. I called him and left a message on his cell. It took him 24 hours to return my call. I was frantic. I called my gardener and his electrician came out that night, immediately after he heard my plea. The lights apparently hung up backwards, according to what the electrician told me. And the cords were geri=rigged at the main plug, with masking tape holding everything together. The extension cords were not up to code, according to the electrician, and the guy went out and bought me the proper cords the following morning. The two electricians worked over an hour to repair the electrical work done by Patrick. When Patrick finally called the following day, I told him what happened. He said he was sorry he couldn't call me back sooner, that he was busy because of Christmas, and he would gladly reimburse me for what I had to pay to the electrician. I'm not going to do it, but I'm very glad he offered. I know Patrick wanted to do a good job for us. I feel he is conciencous, but we had a problem in that the lights didn't work. Patrick is extremely creative in the artistry, but I feel he needs some work on the plugging in.

Patrick 'showed up' when he said he would after my first pick contractor did not...and installed the lights professionally. He never really gave me a quote or ball park on price, telling me that it was 'per foot of lights' and so it was a bit of a shock to pay his final bill. However, it includes the 'taking down' of the lights and he helped me with other small projects in the perishing cold so I am not complaining.

Patrick did an excellent job. When I first talked to him on the phone (I already had one estimate from outside the Service Magic net.), I out lined what I needed and got a rough estimate of the price and scheduled an appointment to pin down details and get a firm one. His telephone presence was outstanding and based on this conversation did not schedule an estimate with the other service master responders. Patrick showed up on time for both the estimate and the job. He performed the work in outstanding fashion and I was completely satisfied with his work.

During our initial contact they showed interest in doing the job correctly and provided us with a detailed explanation of labor and material required to do the job properly. The estimate was competitive with the other estimates we obtained, and the person providing the estimate was actually also going to be accomplishing the hands-on work. The work they did was excellent, and all the details were accounted for. Even small details we weren't aware of were pointed out to us and taken care of. Dealing with them was a pleasant experience, and they were flexible to meet our needs and schedule. After completing the initial contact we contacted them for some emergent work, and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We highly recommend them based on our positive experience.

Patrick and Saiid did an excellent job in painting the exterior of our home. They were very careful, used the best quality products and took the time to do a professional and customized job. We were very happy with their work and have received numerous complements from neighbors.

They were very friendly, professional, and did an outstanding job, on time and on budget.

We hired Patrick and his partner thru Service Magic. They were to prep,caulk,and paint our home which had been newly resided. Patrick appeared to be knowledgeable and professional. We had agreed on a date and time for him to start the job. He then requested a down pmt which we gave him. He started two weeks late and then on the first day he did a no-show. He said he had to do paperwork. On Tuesday he did show up and without our knowledge bought his dog. Other things that he did that were not to our liking were charging his cell phone on our power and had his friends stopping by almost daily. Patrick ended up taking on another job almost immediately and only spent on our job 3 hours a day. The 5-7 days he quoted us for our job took over three weeks. He also had a second no-show. Patrick has an "I don't care attitude". When the final bill came he couldn't find his receipts. The paint was more than what he quoted and he charged us for incidentals that he said he would not. This is not a person we would recomend.

Well I am very sorry for coming across like I didn't care, but that is the exact opposite of why the job ended up taking longer than expected. I care a lot, especially on small details that to me end up making the project even more beautiful. As far as friends stopping by, yes, but they also employees and I need to communicate with them regularly. The client does not mention how beautiful the paint job was or the condition of the house before we started. I will always do my highest quality of work and I am getting a whole lot better on communication, but everyone works on something. I do apologize, and I do aim only to please.
