Construction began with Tovar’s great promises of doing one job at a time; being hands-on-management of the project; and expectation of being done August 1 when Tovar would become BDC. Despite checking references BDC failed to measure up in any project detail. We’ve yet to conclude this job. The site was unmanaged; subcontractors were not paid by BDC resulting in subsequent mechanic liens; garbage was strewn throughout the property. Negligent damage to existing fences, pathways and soil need mitigation. Concrete debris and rumble remained embedded throughout the property. The crawl space beneath remains littered with concrete chunks and excess dirt. BDC refusal to live up to the terms of the contract has resulted in attorney intervention.

The rating from this customer was a surprise. Throughout the duration of the project, the customer was nothing short of content of the progress that was being made to his home. However when it was time to collect the payments there were a lot of excuses surfacing. I had to cut my losses and move on. Fortunately, there are still honest customers that appreciate good work, as the ratings suggest.

The job was started on time. Even though foundation work was done on my house, we had very little disruption to our daily lives during the work.The job was completed on time. This is the second time I have employed this company.

Sergio was AWESOME on price, and VERY courteous. The only disappointment was a delay that we would not have minded, had it been communicated to us. We do plan to use him again next year when we redo our driveway.

Very nice to work with and from what we can tell the quality of work looks excellent. There was a lot of scheduling difficulty. He would say we will be there Tuesday and have to call and reschedule for Wednesday, etc. But I guess that is true of all contractors. Overall, the job got done fairly quickly and I would recommend using them.

Working with Sergio and his crew was delightful - a value I don't normally associate with home improvement and repair. They are knowledgable, professional, do what they say they will do (or more) in the timeframe they say. I highly recommend them!

I hired Tovar Concrete and the driveway and walkways look good. I am satisfied.
