The owner, Mr. Powell & his crew were all very professional. The job was cheap, but outstanding quality & fast. We asked for job to be done in 1 week, & it was. Another reason we hired him was because he hires others, thus helping local economy. Unlike others, Mr. Powell sent >1 painter (sent 4 licensed/insured employees) w/supervisor who made sure job was done right promptly. There was constant communication to ensure we're 100% satisfied, even our dog. Complaints were taken care of right away, no questions asked. We highly recommend ARC Painting! As a matter of fact, when it's time to paint our other house, we'll call them again! Mahalo!

The final product is good but not great. The wall/ceiling edges aren't as sharp as we expected. They started all the rooms with a first coat but didn't finish any until the last day. So we weren't able to move stuff back into place in any room (bedroom for instance) until the job was done. They said they ran out of the paint color and couldn't get more until the next day, etc. Poor planning.

We signed the contract and then they got additional requests from a current job, they put off mine. When I complained, they took off one painter and put on one of the administrative personnel. That has worked pretty well, now they have 3 painters on the job. They are responsive to suggestions and requests.

ARC Painting did a fantastic job painting my Mililani home. ARC does a complete undercoat (not just spot), and TWO finish coats. They take the time to prep all surfaces carefully. They even paint all lighting fixtures. And when they leave the site, they leave it cleaner than it was when they began working! Just a top notch job and well worth every dollar. This is the way the house SHOULD have been painted in the first place.
